Hamburg, Germany-based uber-talented sculptor, Hedi Xandt’s work has been shown widely on multiple blogs and a range of magazines. Today though we take a look at one of his most recent pieces, “The Amperxandt.” Commissioned by New York’s political magazine, The New Republic, it depicts a marble-and-gold rendition of a snake nailed to a sinking skull, coiling into and ampersand form.
